A murder of fat crows. And I mean fat. Corpulent beneath their sleek feathers, with more adipose tissue than any bird could ever possibly need. So they speak of muses, do they? Those sickening symptoms of love, the flowers dressed in everlasting spring-time bloom, the music; yes, the music caged in human flesh. Language wrapped in letters, held together with full stops, dripping commas through the cracks of translation. On a warm wayward wind, in a place where such winds blow, a damsel flies freely through the ever-open window of the troubled writer, and, by some magic only muses know, takes on a gaseous state to flow through the starving composition of the creator, quenching his metaphorical thirst (although it might still be advisable to hand him some bread and a glass of water).

Wow, I haven't said anything for a long time

I always seem to write these when I have exams or am otherwise occupied, and my excuse is always "Well, I won't be writing because I'm busy". But this is not one of those journal entries. Or is it? :XD: No, what I want to rant about it that I won a contest! YAY! Seriously, I've never won a contest for my literature before so I am really excited. It was the Hope and Despair under Empire one and I submitted part of my haloween project, ie. Umbillical Chords. Yes, I'm boasting. Shush, I'm happy :evillaugh: Well, that's all I have to say for now! Eva out.

I don't think I have eight people that I can tag, so I'll be posting here.

Right, 7 facts:

1) I make Donald Duck noises when I'm frustrated

2) I wrote my first proper short story when I was 8, it was a dystopian tale about a bleak future entitled "The Greenhouse".

3) I am a sucker for video games and will play any and all of them but people are still reluctant to buy them for me when they need to get me presents.

4) I have developed an unhealthy obsession with the actor, Misha Collins

5) I'm superstitious and place a fair amount of importance on numerology (as such, the number 5 makes me nervous)

6) Death and anything related to it (whether supernatural or otherwise) fascinates me

7) I don't particularly like violence but I love horror movies and I can hide any sense of squeamishness so well around other people that I scare them
